The Aquatic Life

A podcast about underwater photography, diving and adventure travel hosted by Todd Reimer and Dalton Hamm. As the podcast grows, we are hoping to have discussions with some of the most interesting folks in the industry. We will also give tips to those starting out, talk about our favorite places to travel and dive, and do photo critiques.But as we divers like to do, we also will talk shop with friends and trade fun stories with our community. Patrick Webster (aka 'underwaterpat') is an accomplished underwater photographer and videographer, who happens to also be a marine biologist based in Monterey California. Pat's images and videos have won several competitions and also have been published by National Geographic, The New York Times and more global publications.

In today's episode, Pat shares fun stories about his viral videos, entering and winning one of the largest photo competitions in the world (The Monterey Shootout) and the people that inspire his work. We also talk environmentalism and social responsibility, and what divers should consider as they are traveling the world on dive trips.
